is it over yet?

Did I miss the weekly photo challenge of orange yet?? No? WHEW! We took a little road trip to the coast this past weekend, and as I’d just read the photo challenge the day before, I began to really notice all things orange. I got a few pictures at the beach, and then threw in a few random shots of other stuff for artistic effect.

So……..what’s your take on this week’s challenge?

shadow sharing

On one of our trips, we spotted this rainbow ahead, along about sundown. I just had to snap a picture of it through the windshield. The shadows of the clouds on the hills, with the last rays of the sun shining through, and that beautiful rainbow,  all made for a very enjoyable trip. I thought it would be a good one to share for this week’s photo challenge.

On another trip, we were treated to this scene…

And finally, this one in Wyoming…

A brand new day

Well, folks, it’s a brand NEW year. Today is a brand NEW day. And I seem to be doing the same OLD things I did last year.

I wonder if I’ll keep this posting thing up very long, or if I’ll fall into the OLD habits of forgetting??? Maybe it will be different this year, and I’ll form a NEW habit of posting on a more regular basis. I’d like to say I plan to post on a weekly basis, which would indeed be NEW for me.

But as I’m OLD, and likely to forget again, I’ll just take it as it comes…and not worry about it. So here is my take on this week’s photo challenge of NEW.

Yep, that’s it. Nothing NEW under the sun.

It’s the least I could do

I wanted to try this photo challenge “minimalist” thing out. I could’ve taken a new photo, but thought I’d share one of my old favorites instead. Hey, it’s the least I could do. 😆

This feather made me wonder what happened to the bird.
